Lets Get Creative!
This year's Rox festival is aiming to promote local artists, musicians and artisan crafters. This will be our 17th year and we attract around 4,000 thousands visitors each day from the local community and the surrounding area. This year we're hoping to showcase some local artists and creative businesses to add to the successful mix of music and arts from previous years.
We're currently looking for stalls with interesting and unusual goods for sale as well as hands on, creative workshops.
What do we offer?
A unique opportunity to sell direct to the public over the weekend, and promote your business to thousands of local people interested in the arts. To give you a platform to demonstrate your skills to the public, interact with potential longer term customers and make an important contribution to the local community.
There will be low cost stalls available for local businesses with unusual or unique goods for sale available for just a £40
donation to the Rox Charity. Anyone who has an idea for a hands-on, creative workshop or activity, will be offered a free pitch.
With a workshop pitch you may charge a small fee for anyone wishing to take part in your workshop and/or you may sell handmade craft goods. We're also looking for street performers and street artists* which could perhaps be a promotion opportunity for dance or drama schools or costume suppliers?
Also individuals who can offer face/ body painting, hair wraps/ extensions, caricatures, sculpture or large scale art.
We're afraid that food concessions are not available unless you have a particularly interesting food related proposal.
There are limited pitches available (20) and allocation of space will be based on the merit of your idea.
