Rox Fringe Festival!
This year the Rox festival carries on beyond the bands on the main stage and into the Fringe where you will find something for every age group. The fringe gives you a chance to join in and get creative!!
Get hands on with the Rox creative workshops offering you a chance to have a go at making greetings cards, gemstone charms and pirate hats for the fancy dress parade. There's also a variety of interesting stalls including unique jewellery, African goods, Indian head massage, card readings and more.
'Rox Tots' makes a welcome return and will be offering make and play sessions for the tiniest people whilst the Junior Rox area will be running drama workshops and activities including parachute games and face painting.
The acoustic stage in the fringe has a full program scheduled for both days of the festival. The Saturday is open mic presented by Terry Chapman where you can reveal your talents to the Rox crowd.
Sunday's Fringe line up includes a number of acoustic acts as well as percussion workshops running throughout the day. You will have the chance play as part of a percussion band, learning set rhythm and even leading the fancy dress parade.
Sunday is fancy dress day and the theme is Pirates and Rock Stars so grab your eye patch and your Elvis wig for the culmination of the Rox Fringe Fancy Dress Parade at 6pm which starts at the fringe stage.
