Rox 19th Festival! Free Music & Art Festival 15th & 16th August 2009 Sea Front Bognor Regis

The 19th Rox Music & Arts Festival returns for its 3rd year on Bognor's seafront where it originally started back in 1990 and continued up until 2001. Over 60,000 music lovers attended the free event over the 3 days. Despite the huge success of the whole festival the police & the authorities decided that we could not return to our seafront home which created large protests from the local population!!

Since then we have used various locations around the area whilst always wanting & trying to get back to the seafront. 2007 saw the break-through in negotiations & everyone moved forward. We had a great weekend back on the seafront with a crowd of 15,000 throughout the whole weekend.

This year the 19th Rox Festival will take place over the 15th/16th August, Saturday 1pm-11pm / Sunday 1pm-10pm.
The main stage will be located in the grounds of the town's premier hotel 'The Royal Norfolk' which overlooks the sea. A second stage has been added to the arena for 2009.
Rox Fringe has been expanded a great deal this year and includes its own stage, a climbing wall, arts, crafts and exhibitors, a 'mead' bar, kite flying and much more!

A selection of food outlets will be on site to help keep your energy levels up!
