Rumour - Leading Edge Festival Sound and Light

In December of 2009, during a Rox meeting, Christian Murray mentioned the inclusion of some leading edge sound and light technology.



Christian is involved with MLM Productions which develops state of the art audio visual technology. This is geared towards festival, advertising and other entertainment projects. Over the years the products released included advanced club lasers, and projection technology in a variety of forms. These include a six metre sphere than acts as a 3 dimensional surround projector and a pyramid screen. The most recent development is named Lacoste. It using a technical term audience immersion. This in simple terms means that the audience and particants of an event have projected images all round them. This is similar to the 3 dimensional sphere already mentioned except instead of projecting outwards it is inwards. The possibilities are endless, such as dj booths surrounded with projected images.
